For over 20 years, Susan Wendel has been creating the very finest "Interiors of Erie." Susan started her interior-decorating career in 1980. She worked for a chain of window-treatment stores called the Homemaker Shops, headquartered out of Detroit. Susan also worked in the Erie store and ranked as the top producer every month from 1982-1986. She graduated from Mercyhurst College in 1986 where she studied interior design. In December of 1986, Interiors of Erie hired her as chief designer/decorator while the owner traveled throughout Europe. This proved to be a terrific opportunity to expand all the skills needed to become half owner in 1988. In 1991, Susan became sole owner of Interiors of Erie where she continues to enjoy designing today.
